What exactly is RANCHtoME.com? We’re a site looking to connect local ranchers with their neighbors and local community who’ve been searching for them.
We believe in eating as local as possible, and we have talked with countless people who have always wanted to buy direct from their local ranchers, but have never known how to reach out to them. Talking with our local ranchers, their toughest issue is marketing to locals and forming that relationship. Our goal is to facilitate that introduction!
Users type in a keyword for the item they’re looking for (like “Angus Beef” or “Highland Cow”) followed by their zip code and how far they are willing to travel to purchase the item. RANCHtoME.com will bring up all of the local ranches that that meet the search criteria, putting active buyers in contact with the sellers nearby who have what they are looking for.
Think of the change we can make together by allowing neighbors and local ranchers to easily find each other. Eating fresh and local will never be the same. Together, through these connections, we can work to bring back health and vitality to our communities!
So, go on; give it a try. Looking for a whole cow? Take a look. How about a monthly boxed meat program? It may be closer than you think. And if you are a rancher and have something to provide to your community, it may be time to post your listing. Your neighbors are looking for you!
